SUUOO 8-Pack KY-040 Rotary Encoder Module with Push Button Switch
ℹ
Products from the USA may come with an input voltage of 110V–120V, requiring a step-down transformer. Check the device wattage to select the correct power converter.
•COMPLETE 8-PACK SET: Includes 8 KY-040 rotary encoder modules with pre-soldered 5-pin headers, 8 black D-shaft knobs, 8 hex mounting nuts, and 8 metal washers. Operating voltage of 5V with 20 pulses per rotation for precise control in your electronics projects.
•DUAL-FUNCTION DESIGN: Features 360-degree continuous rotation that outputs incremental pulse signals in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. Built-in push-button switch allows simultaneous programming of two functions, such as rotating for volume adjustment and pressing to mute.
•PERFECTLY MATCHED D-SHAFT KNOBS: Black knurled knobs feature internal D-shaped molding that aligns precisely with the half-moon metal shaft of the encoder. Ensures secure, flush mounting without excessive force or modifications, eliminating common compatibility issues.
•SIMPLE INSTALLATION PROCESS: Connect the five pins (CLK, DT, SW, +, GND) to your microcontroller, insert the threaded shaft through your panel hole, secure with the included washer and hex nut, then align and press the knob onto the shaft's flat edge until seated.
•VERSATILE PROJECT APPLICATIONS: Ideal for DIY electronics enthusiasts and repair technicians. Perfect for building custom USB volume controllers, replacing faulty dials on audio receivers, controlling stepper and servo motors, or integrating into FlashFloppy and Gotek floppy emulator projects.
