The Degrē Collection was designed by Eric & Grace Lew, co-founders of LINE+ARC, an affordable modern design startup based in San Francisco.

Because beautiful surfaces deserve beautiful protection

Grace & Eric designed the Degrē Collection because they couldn’t find coasters that were beautiful, functional, and easy to clean. “We wanted something that we could leave out on the table or counter all the time as a decorative touch,” explains Grace.

The Meaning of Degrē

“We named the collection Degrē in reference to the 60- and 120-degree angles in their geometric shapes and to the incredible 500-degree heat resistance of the materials,” explains Eric.

Dishwasher Safe, Stain-resistant, Non-scratching, Anti-slip, Non-toxic

The Degrē collection is made entirely from Food-Grade Silicone. This means they’re incredibly durable, highly stain-resistant, naturally anti-slip, and won’t scratch your surfaces. “We investigated many materials including cork, wood, stone, marble, leather, and fabric, but they all had issues with staining and were hard to clean. What we love about silicone is that it is virtually stain proof, dishwasher safe, and waterproof. It’s incredibly durable and easy to clean!”

Care

Wash in the dishwasher in a vertical position to avoid pooling of water. If soapy water from the dishwasher dries on the surface of the coasters, the soap can leave a white residue, but this can be easily removed with a damp cloth.
