The Pro veTEC 571 C from Omegon features the new Sony IMX571 sensor. This APS-C format camera, with a pixel size of 3.8 µm, is the big sister of the veTEC 533 C and offers

  • high quantum efficiency (~80%)
  • a low reading noise (~ 1.5 e-)
  • large storage capacity or Full-Well-Capacity (50 000 e-)
  • 16-bit ADC
  • The Zero-Amp-Glow system eliminates the brightness of the amplifier.

Professional Deep Sky Astronomical Photography: The huge sensor is perfect for extensive nebulae, stellar fields, or the lunar surface. Unlike most planetary cameras, this sensor is comparable to larger DSLR cameras.

Thermoelectric cooling: The cooling system reduces noise in the image. Up to 40 ° C below the ambient temperature, the noise caused by the dark current has almost completely disappeared. In addition, accurate sensor temperature control is very useful for calibrating astronomical photographs with dark frames. All can be taken at the right temperature. The final images are very clear of noise.

USB HUB - Two additional USB ports on the back of the camera reduce cable chaos. Additional devices (for example, a guide camera) can be easily connected via this hub. Having an extra cable connection to your PC from each individual device is a thing of the past!
