In 1944, during a controversial chapter of the brand's history, the factory produced uniforms for the German army.

By 1950, The first men's suits order is received after Eugen Holy, Hugo's son-in-law, joins and expands the business. Over two decades, Hugo Boss begins to transform into a high-end fashion brand after Jochen and Uwe Holy, Eugen's sons, take over the business. In 1996, The Boss brand is granted it's first watch licence and begins releasing trendy timepieces.
