Its an completely empty remote flip key for aftermarket i20 models .their is no battery nor electronic circuit inside.u can buy the product if your old key looks exactly the same.best recommanded if your old car key is broken or worne out.Note: The product is suitable for models 2012-2014 only. It is not suitable for i20 Elite / i20 Active / Creta models with flip key. Procedure: Open your original key casing. Transfer your internal electronics, such as immobilizer/transponder chip, remote circuit and battery of original flip key into the new shell exactly as in the original key. Remember to place the immobilizer chip nearby key head provision provided and glue the chip at one corner to fit well. You have 2 options with the key blade; either you can use the original one if there are no cracks or damages in key. If not, then just take your old key blade and new uncut blade supplied along with the shell to an automotive locksmith to get it duplicated. You will only be charged for the cutting of blade. In case if you are not thorough with the procedure, we recommend you to visit your nearest locksmith to get it done.
