The BDA-42-1-AR-R is a Bi-Directional Cable TV Amplifier designed for use in homes and is intended for use on cable TV systems only. This is NOT recommended for use with antenna systems (OTA) and it will NOT work with satellite systems. Use one of our PASSIVE Return amplifiers instead.
Compatible with all standard and digital Cable TV services. This product is NOT MoCA compatible. The amplifier should be installed BEFORE splitters and long cable runs for best results. Installation must occur close to the cable’s entry point for optimal performance.
Boosts signal by 32x in the forward path and 10x in the reverse path. It is not intended to “fix” a weak signal, only to boost a good one.
Meets all applicable IEEE surge standards for all output ports, which enhances system reliability. Weather seal and protective coating allow use of the amplifier for indoor or outdoor applications. 36" White connection cable included.
