We love recording almost as much as you do. Reinforced Edges for Vinyl Records Check out the shatter-proof reinforced edge for durability. The main difference is the thickness of the plastic. Don't bother with the flimsy 1 mil. thick sleeves that feel like Saran Wrap because they don't offer much protection, fold, buckle, and don't hold their shape. Instead, opt for 3 mil. thick clear plastic outer bags or sleeves. They will hold their shape and provide more than enough protection for your record album jackets. For thicker multi-record boxes, you'll need a wider outer sleeve. Our poly outer sleeves also feature resealable adhesive flaps that are ideal for keeping dust off of records. To reduce the risk of the adhesive coming into contact with a record, the adhesive strip should be on the back of the sleeve rather than on the flap. While not completely necessary, a flap can help keep dust out and should be considered.
