KNL RO AR water filter purifier (blue) + pH regulator, 13 ltrs storage tank, retains healthy minerals without TDS controller, for extremely hard water (For TDS range 1200 ppm to 2500 ppm)
•BARC licensed & ISO 9001:2015 certified TFC Dry RO Membrane, service life up to 15000 litres, reduces TDS around 95% (+ - 3%), flux rate (19-21) ltrs/hour, eliminates all the impurities like arsenic, virus/bacteria/germs, pesticides, herbicides, chlorine, fluoride, bromide, cyanide, lead etc. from feed water and gives mineral enriched healthy drinking water. The RO model maintains TDS around 5% in drinking water.
•Purification stages – 1) Pre filter 2) Sediment filter 3) Activated block carbon- 1000 IV carbon cartridge 4) KNL BARC certified RO Membrane. 5) AAA (Anti bacterial, Alkaline, Antioxidant) cartridge adds alkaline up to pH 3.0 & minerals up to 90 ppm, used with regulator to achieve balanced pH. 6) Activated Post carbon made from coconut shell inhibits the bacterial growth and enhances drinking water taste.
•Specifications: Wall mount (detachable tank system), 13 ltr storage tank, easy detachable and restorable, easy to maintain, operate and pocket friendly annual maintenance. Input AC current 150 volt to 270 volts, output current 24 volts, 2.5 amp, service life for all inline filters 10000 litres, electric consumption 35 watt/hour, with auto off/on indicator, very less water wastage compare to ordinary RO membrane.
•The water purifier comes with one year warranty for electrical goods and 6 months for inline cartridges. The Installation cost is separate (cost may vary between Rs. 500/- to Rs. 700/- depending upon distance from city centre). Users are requested to go through user manual for the maintenance of the water purifier. We provide PAN India Installation service in working days.
•As per WHO, BIS & EPA, TDS in drinking water up to 300 PPM remain in excellent conditions. 50 ppm to 100 ppm is permissible, 100 ppm to 150 ppm is preferable range & 150 ppm to 300 ppm is ideal & best mineral range in drinking water. From 150 ppm to 300 ppm range is known as mineral water. RO or normal bottle packed water user may feel little hard water taste due to more minerals.
•Contaminants molecule size remain greater than 0.01 microns, germs size from 0.027 microns to 5 microns, water molecule size is 0.000283 microns, dissolve compositions of mineral molecule size remain less than 0.0009 microns, but all NF Membrane pore sizes are 0.0015, 0.0010, 0.0005, 0.0002 microns & RO membrane pore size is 0.0001 microns, therefore the NF Membrane & Ro membrane does the job far better than the UV and TDS controller system. Therefore technically UV is not needed.
•In traditional model of RO water purifier filter with TDS controller or adjuster or MTDS (taste enhancer) is used to enhance TDS. In this process some portion of raw water after carbon filter is getting mixed with membrane treated water that allows impurities like arsenic, bromide, fluoride, germs etc. to the drinking water. The UV may kills germs but impurities passes in drinking water. RO makes the water much acidic and water wastage is much more compare to NF.
•Therefore using NF20, NF40, NF60, NF80 or RO membrane according to your raw water TDS is smart choice than using traditional technology. TDS controller is not good choice but gimmick to sale the product. User need to check raw water TDS first and then select the right model. TDS is not impurities but compositions of minerals namely potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, copper, zinc, sodium etc. and our body need 5% to 10% minerals from water.
