Categories3.3V I2C Digital RGBW Color Sensor VEML6040 Breakout For Arduino
Description:
The VEML6040 is a small, low power, color sensor that incorporates photo diodes, amplifiers, and analog / digital circuits into a single CMOS chip. It provides an accurate response to red, green, blue, and white light and outputs the information over an easy to use I2C interface. Furthermore, it provides excellent temperature compensation, keeping the output stable under changing temperatures.
The sensor operates off of 3.3V max and with our example code you can have it working with an Arduino in just a few minutes. It is perfect for robotics and automation applications involving visible spectroscopy and color sensing.
